If you thought Marvel was going to let DC have all the fun this weekend, think again.  20th Century Fox has just released its latest and greatest full-length Fantastic Four trailer.  Of course, it was also due to a leak because the release date was suppose to be tomorrow.  Nowadays with the ease of digital media, the difficulty of removing new leaked copies popping up is akin to playing Whac-A-Mole.  So you might as well just release your own official high-quality version.

Fans may be happy with the trailer because we see all four members displaying their powers.  And finally, we see Dr. Doom in action.  Check out it out:

Is it just me, or did you expect The Thing to proclaim, “It’s clobberin’ time!”, at the end of the trailer?

The initial teaser trailer for Fantastic Four was released on January 27, 2015 and was met with a lukewarm response.  Fans complained that the heart of the Fantastic Four team seemed to be missing and that there wasn’t enough of a display of their suits and powers.  Hopefully, with the release of this latest full-length trailer, director Josh Trank’s re-imagining of the famous group’s live action incarnation will be better received.

The Fantastic Four were previously brought to life in Fantastic Four (2005) and its sequel, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007).  Even though both films were considered semi-commercial successes, they were derided by critics and fans.  Chris Evans — who played Johnny Storm / The Human Torch in these two films — went on to win the role of Steve Rogers / Captain America in the highly successful Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fantastic Four has a United States release date of Friday, August 7, 2015.  It is directed by Josh Trank, written by Simon Kinberg and Jeremy Slater from a story by Jeremy Slater and Josh Trank, and stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic, Kate Mara as Susan Storm / The Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm / The Human Torch, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm / The Thing, Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev / Dr. Doom, Reg E. Cathey as Dr. Franklin Storm, and Tim Blake Nelson as Harvel Elder.
