Stan Lee made a surprise appearance in Hall H on Saturday.  It all started with moderator Chris Hardwick wanting to break a record of having the most superheroes on stage.  As he gathered all the panel attendees, he asked if someone could take a picture for them.

That’s when Stan Lee, feigning anger, came on stage and stated that he doesn’t just do cameos, but can also take a picture.  When they try to look for a camera, Channing Tatum, who will be playing Gambit in Gambit, also makes a surprise appearance and offers his.  The crowd went wild as the cast from Deadpool, Fantastic Four, Gambit, and X-Men: Apocalypse took an unforgettable picture.  Now that’s creating a memory!

Stan Lee seemed to be in good spirits with high energy.  Two weeks ago he gave fans quite a scare when reports came out that he called 911 after not feeling well, and was eventually brought to the hospital via ambulance.  He quickly made a vow to fans that he would be at the red carpet premiere of Ant-Man for the very next day of which he came through with.

Flicks and the City has the actual video that documents how everything went down with the selfie.

And here’s the result:
