The Flash: “Other Worlds” Extended Trailer Released

Like the Flash speeding after a dangerous super-villain, an extended trailer for Other Worlds – the first promo featuring Jay Garrick — has been rapidly released for Season 2 of The CW’s The Flash. In the dramatic almost 1-minute trailer, we see multiple people — good and bad — warn the Scarlet Speedster of the arrival of Zoom. And like the actual episodes of The Flash, the trailer rises to a heroic climax with Iris declaring her belief in Barry before it all comes to a nerve-racking, tense end.
Season 2 of The CW’s The Flash will be a truly action-packed spectacle with various characters from the DC mythos making their appearances: Zoom, Jay Garrick, Patty Spivot, Doctor Light, Wally West, and Atom-Smasher. As the season goes on and with the introduction of the concept of multiple Earths, we’re sure that the series will be adding to this list.
Ever since its debut on The CW, The Flash has proven that even with the influx of more realistically grounded superhero fare — The Dark Knight trilogy, Arrow, etc. — audiences still have an interest in the fantastic. With great writing and an equally great cast to bring the characters to life, The Flash acquired a strong following and became one of the biggest hits on TV.
The Flash Season 2 will premiere on The CW on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 8:00PM EST.
