Marvel Comics: 11 major moments comic book fans should know about (December)

These comic book moments will shake up the future of Marvel as we head into the new year.

This year has seen a huge number of jaw-dropping comic book moments. Last month, for example, X of Swords ended with Apocalypse leaving Krakoa and the Quiet Council, Red Hood being back on his own and Killer Croc becoming his new villain.

This month has had its share of big moments as well. First, Batman gained a new partner as his former friend-turned-nemesis Ghost Maker will begin helping Bruce clean up Gotham. Meanwhile, Elektra attempted to break Daredevil out of prison – only to have the Man without Fear turn down her offer – before she became Daredevil herself.

These are only some of the important moments in comic books. Let’s see what else happened on the Marvel front as we look back at December’s biggest moments before 2021 takes us into a new era.

Elsa Bloodstone is a monster hunter and proud of it. Then, Deadpool became king of the monsters. He showed her that not every monster needs to be killed. During this time, they grew close. There was the “Will they or won’t they” storyline that progressed as the series continued. Now, it looks like more of a definite than a maybe.

Why is this important?

Elsa has always been a sworn enemy of the monsters. Now, thanks to her relationship with Deadpool, she’s their ally. Elsa’s not someone that should be messed with, especially now that she’s regained the Bloodstone without the negative effects. There is a major battle coming and it’s with the Deo Monstri Cult. If the Knight Wolf is worried, then this will be major. The monsters of Deadpoolopolis (formerly Long Island) will need all the help they can get.
