Marvel fans have spent the better part of six months asking for the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer. The studio has released it to audiences at CinemaCon, but it has not yet surfaced online - despite a highly-motivated, highly-ready fanbase. That hasn't, however, stopped detailed footage descriptions from leaking online within minutes of its debut, which have continued to circulate the internet ever since. And, oh yeah, it gets better.
It's pretty much guaranteed that Marvel Studios is set to debut that first full-length teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25. According to insiders, it will be a variation of the one showcased at CinemaCon, with footage from that clip as well as brand new scenes that have not yet been seen by fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Detailed breakdowns of this one have also reportedly leaked online and - together - both breakdowns confirm that the MCU is going to deliver on its larger-than-life promises.

First look at Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom
Let's get straight into it: Regardless of which version of the Avengers: Doomsday trailer that Marvel Studios decides to showcase at SDCC, it will feature the first official look at Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. This is one of the common denominators from the footage description of the CinemaCon trailer and the reported breakdown of the upcoming Comic-Con one. And it makes sense, because it's arguably the things fans want to see more.
It was clear that Marvel was making us all wait for Victor von Doom. When the studio unveiled four teaser trailers for the film during the theatrical release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, they were all character-centric, focused specifically on Chris Evans' return as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth's return as Thor, the X-Men's long-awaited comeback, and the crossover between the Fantastic Four and the Wakandans. Doctor Doom - the title character portrayed by the MCU's biggest legend - was intentionally kept out of that wave of marketing. Now, it's his time to shine.
The X-Men's long-awaited return to the screen
One of Avengers: Doomsday's biggest selling-points is the return of the X-Men. Heck, one of the early teaser trailers featured our first looks at Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen's returns as Professor X and Magneto, as well as James Marsden's return as Cyclops. Marvel knows how excited fans are about the porspect of seeing the Mighty Mutants back on their screens, and the trailers will reportedly capitalize on that.
According to the footage breakdowns from CinemaCon, there will be a scene that features Gambit and Shang-Chi going head-to-head - a scene that will undoubtedly be a spectacle for the ages. The film will also see Yelena Belova take on a version of herself - who is, of course, Mystique in disguise. The X-Men are full of potential that the MCU has yet to explore and, by the sounds of things, the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will showcase a small part of that.

Marvel crossovers aplenty
One element of Avengers: Doomsday that fans are particularly excited about is the original wave of heroes meeting some of the Multiverse Saga's biggest stars. We mentioned Shang-Chi earlier; we know that he will be officially joining the Avengers in this film, inevitably meeting the likes of Thor and Steve Rogers in the process. Another big crossover will reportedly be that of Yelena Belova and Steve Rogers.
According to the breakdowns of the upcoming Comic-Con trailer, there will be a thoughtful moment between the original Captain America and the newer Black Widow. Steve was best friends with Natasha Romanoff - the original Black Widow - so to see her younger sister take on that legacy, lead the Thunderbolts / New Avengers, is an incredibly fulfilling moment for both him and viewers.
There are expected to be many, many more larger-than-life crossovers throughout the film: From the Fantastic Four finally meeting the X-Men, to the new Avengers and the classic X-Men crossing paths for the very first time, these trailer breakdowns confirm that the movie won't miss the major opportunties to make movie history. We can't wait to see it in action.

A larger-than-life spectacle
Regardless of whether Marvel Studios unveils the CinemaCon trailer, a brand new one entirely, or an amalgamation of both at San Diego Comic-Con, you can guarantee that it will showcase the larger-than-life spectacle that Avengers: Doomsday has promised to be. There is a lot of anticipation for the upcoming MCU movie, and it's imperative that the studio gets it right after a number of misfires over the Multiverse Saga; judging by the information available from the trailers thus far, it's going to deliver.
Remember, a major battle sequence from the film leaked online a few weeks back and it seemingly confirmed some of the already-revealed trailer footage that had been circulating the internet since CinemaCon - so we know that we're getting a stunning showdown in which the Avengers, New Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men battle Doctor Doom and the Sentinels. That sequence will also seemingly feature Chris Evans' Steve Rogers - who the trailers have told us will once again wield Mjolnir.
The breakdowns of both trailers have confirmed that we will likely see Steve and Thor's reunion, as well as Thor's attempt to defeat Doctor Doom with Stormbreaker - which doesn't go too well for the God of Thunder. Those moments - as well as any of the others which have already been revealed - confirm that Marvel is pulling out all the stops to deliver with Avengers: Doomsday. And the official release of that trailer will officially mark the beginning of that journey towards the movie's arrival this December. We can't wait to finally see the footage of these well-established moments.
