We don't have to wait much longer for the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day's first trailer. I know, it's been a long wait; from the quartet of Avengers: Doomsday trailers frontloading Marvel's 2026 to the decision to skip the Super Bowl TV spots entirely, it felt like Spidey's fourth installment might have been getting forgotten about. Thankfully, that hasn't proven to be the case at all.
Sony has officially launched the marketing campaign for Spider-Man's next adventure, announcing that the trailer is imminent. However, there's a twist: The studio is recruiting fans around the world to unveil exclusive clips from the trailer ahead of its official launch. And those clips have been entertaining fans all through the day. You can watch all of them here.
But when can fans expect the official full trailer to release. Here's what you need to know.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer release time and date
The first official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. It's expected to premiere at 7:05 a.m. ET, 4:05 a.m. PT, 5:05 a.m. MT, and 6:05 a.m. CT. This comes after a post from Sony Pictures' distributor in Kazakhstan seemingly confirmed both the time and date that the trailer would premiere ahead of Tom Holland's announcement. What to expect from the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer
It's been quite the run for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer. Fans have spent months eagerly awaiting the first look at the film, only for an unanticipated leak to give them an idea of what to expect. But still, there were more months to wait. And then, reports claimed that a mid-March release was imminent. Those reports were indeed correct.
Sony has made the most of that buzz with the unique trailer release format, getting fans involved in the fun of it all and creating 24 hours of anticipation. Those sneak peeks that have been unveiled have given us little glimpses of what to expect from the film. And, so far, we know that MJ will reunite with Spider-Man (while also potentially not knowing that it's Peter under the mask), Tombstone will deliver a haunting monologue about the lifespan of a spider, and the webslinger will cross paths with the MCU's most notorious anti-hero.
From the clips we've seen thus far, we know that Jon Bernthal's Punisher will run over Spider-Man when he gets in his way. That's the full extent of what we know at this point, but a multitude of fan theories suggest that the two will end up working together to stop whatever threats come New York City's way. Heck, they might even get a Hulk-sized hand, too.
We are just hours away from the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Spider-Man movie, and we're so excited to see Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo and other Marvel favorites back on our screens.
