UPDATE, MARCH 18: Sony has officially released the FULL Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer. You can watch that here.

After days, months, and nearly a year of waiting, the very first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is almost upon us. Fans had been waiting for the first official footage from the film ever since Marvel Studios began rolling out the marketing campaign for Avengers: Doomsday in December 2025 - a movie that isn't released until December 2026. They even endured a leaked trailer in the midst of all that (which came out of absolute nowhere!). But now, there isn't much longer to wait.

Tom Holland has announced that the first official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in full on March 18 - an announcement which comes after that date accidentally leaked out. But that's only the beginning - or, well, end - of the marketing push. It turns out that Sony Pictures has a very unique release method in mind - one that might actually rival Marvel's own five-hour livestream for the Avengers: Doomsday cast announcement last year.

Ahead of the trailer's release tomorrow, fans all across the world will be releasing first look clips out of sync and at random. It's part of Sony marketing strategy to include Spider-Man fans and cosplayers as they celebrate the legacy of the beloved hero. This confirms a recent rumor that suggested the campaign would feature fans and it's only the beginning of what is going to be an exciting day. With that in mind, we will be here to update you live with each and every new clip that is released online.

First look at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer unveiled

The first clip, released this morning, comes from a fan in Lima, Peru, who shares what might just be the most incredible shot from the whole Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer. It's a nod to the legendary image of Spider-Man's first appearance in Amazing Fantasy No. 15 (released in 1962), in which he swings through New York City having just saved someone.

The second clip comes from a Spidey fan in Columbus, Ohio. This is a much more serious clip and it features the first official look at Tom Holland's Peter Parker in Brand New Day. With a concerned look on his face, the more mature Peter seemingly stumbles and passes out. But what's wrong with him?

Of course, we won't know what's gotten to Spidey until the full teaser trailer is released, but it's safe to say that he's not in a good way. Has all of that superheroing he's been doing for the last four years gotten to him? Or has he been poisoned by returning Spider-Man: Homecoming villain the Scorpion? Some fans spotted that he might be bleeding from the ears - is his Spider-Sense overwhelming him?!

The third clip originates from Mexico City and it features Peter throwing on his Spider-Man suit as he races across the rooftops of New York City and jumps off into the cityscape. It's a type of shot we've come to associate with Spider-Man trailers and it looks ever bit as epic here.

The fourth clip originates from Las Vegas, Nevada. It showcases Spider-Man using his web shooters. However, it seems as if he's latched onto something - or someone - extremely powerful as the force of the pull ultimately sends him flying across the roofs.

The fifth clip comes from Hawaii and it features a close-up shot of Peter's eye. During the clip, you can hear a voice saying "life cycles". It's obviously been cut off intentionally as we're witnessing just a small clip from a 1 - 2 minute teaser trailer. However, fans are convinced that the voice speaking is none other than Tombstone.

The leaked trailer from December featured the character's voice saying the line: Spiders have three life cycles. And between cycles, it can leave the spider vulnerable to threats. Those spiders that survive… go through a kind of rebirth."

Of course, that's the idea of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in general as Peter Parker kicks off a brand new chapter in both his own life and his career as the webslinger.

The sixth clip features Peter Parker, looking somber while suited up as Spider-Man, pulling his iconic mask down over his face (before he seemingly jumps off the rooftop into action). The New York Cityscape lingers in the background behind him as a melancholic version of the iconic Spider-Man theme plays over the top of the moment.

The sixth clip comes from a fan in Melbourne, Australia and it might just be the most exciting sneak peek of them all. This one features an unexpected reunion between Tom Holland's Peter Parker and Zendaya's Michelle "MJ" Jones Watson. What's most interesting here is that Peter is still wearing his iconic suit, so this might just be a scene between Spider-Man and MJ - not old partners Peter and MJ.

Could the film be telling a more comic-accurate story where MJ falls for Peter all over again, but as Spider-Man instead? That would certainly make for an emotional rollercoaster. Check out their reunion below:

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now released an eighth clip of the upcoming trailer and it appears to feature another line from Tombstone's well-documented monologue about the life of Spiders. You can clearly hear him say "Spiders have three", suggesting that this is indeed the line from the previously leaked trailer.

Watch this new clip, released by Spider-fans from Tokyo Japan, below:

The ninth clip features none other than Jon Bernthal's Punisher. The star reprises his role from Netflix shows Daredevil and The Punisher, as well as Marvel Studios' own Daredevil: Born Again, and it looks like he's going to have a different "red" thorn in his side this time around.

The clip comes from a Spider-Man fan in Seoul, Korea. Watch Spidey meet The Punisher below:

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day teasers reached No. 10 with a clip that showcased a look at a very different figure. As this seemingly threatening individual raised their hands, we are shown footage of some buildings exploding as the narrator - again, likely Tombstone - talks about threats.

This one comes from a fan account in Singapore and you can watch it here:

Speaking of explosions, the next clip features Spider-Man himself swinging through the city to avoid an explosion behind him - caused by the machine gun on the back of the tank he is chasing. If this one looks familiar to you, that's probably because it's reminiscent of one of the most iconic set photos from the film's production in Glasgow - so, in a way, we all knew this scene was coming to the finished product.

This clip comes exclusively from Spider-Man fans in Indonesia.

The twelfth clip comes from Kazakhstan and it features the return of Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, who walks right by Peter in a cafe. Of course, this isn't surprising considering that the spell that Doctor Strange cast in Spider-Man: No Way Home is still in full effect here. Nobody remembers who Peter Parker is, so nobody - not even his best friend - recognizes him either.

The next clip comes from fans in Istanbul. It's quite the epic visuals too, as it sees Spidey launch himself backwards off a skyscraper and into the cityscape below - likely just before swinging off.

Undoubtedly the most emotional clip of the trailer thus far, this one features Peter visiting Aunt May's grave, placing an affectionate kiss onto the tombstone. Just as he did at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, he's wearing a grey hoodie to ensure nobody connects him to his beloved aunt - allowing the spell to remain intact.

The clip comes from Spidey fans in Finland and, based on the music in this one, this is likely a moment from the trailer's closing moments, building up to its conclusion.

Peter Parker is in his feels again in the next clip as he attends what appears to be a college party only to see MJ sharing a moment with another man. Based on this first look, fans have deduced that Eman Esfandi is indeed playing MJ's new boyfriend.

This clip comes from South African Spider-Man fans and it's one of the most striking of them all so far.

This next clip comes from Spider-Man fans in Munich, Germany, and it reveals Spidey being scanned by some kind of machine. Now, considering that audiences are expecting him to undergo some kinf of mutation in the film, this could have something to do with that.

Next up is another shot of Spidey chasing that giant tank through the streets of New York City. We don't yet know who's driving it, but it's unsurprisingly heavy duty, as Spidey attempts to stop it with his web fluid.

This clip has been exclusively released by a fan from Rome, Italy. Watch it below:

A Spider-Man fan from France unveiled the next clip of the trailer, and this is an image that has very quickly gone viral. It appears to be Peter Parker waking up to see his room covered in webbing. Could he be undergoing a transformation that makes him produce organic webbing overnight? Yeah, that could be a problem!

The next clip showcases how Peter's life has changed as Spider-Man in the four years since audiences last caught up with him in Spider-Man: No Way Home. No longer is he using nano-technology suits with a full arsenal on his hands. No, he is washing his suit in a washing machine late at night on his own.

This melancholic clip was originally posted by Spidey fans in Spain!

The next clip comes from Spider-Man fans in Wales, UK, and it features the first look at Michael Mando's long-awaited return as the Scorpion. And yes, he's fully suited-up (and yes, he looks amazing)!

The webbing saga continues in this brand new clip from Spider-Man fans in Brazil, as it features what appears to be Peter's hands pulling open a webbing cocoon. Oh yeah, it's happening!

The last Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer clip - and perhaps the most shocking of them all - features Spidey going up against The Hand. The villainous organization were the big bads of multiple Marvel Netflix series, including Daredevil and The Punisher, before going on to headline The Defenders as its main villains. Now, they're back and targetting Spider-Man!

This one comes from Spidey fans in Bueonos Aires, Argentina, and it just might be the best clip of them all!
