UPDATE: The Disney CinemaCon Panel is taking place NOW. Check out our LIVE recap for Avengers: Doomsday trailer updates.
Marvel fans all over the world are preparing for the long-awaited fifth Avengers movie. It's a moment that once felt like it was never going to happen, for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's launching of the Multiverse Saga brought the franchise into a brand new era. And then the highs and lows of that era left its endgame relatively unclear. But, as it always does, the MCU rose from the ashes with a new concept for the flick and, with that, Avengers: Doomsday was born.
Robert Downey Jr. is back in the MCU, but this time as new villain Doctor Doom, as he is expected to battle a star-studded cast of heroes, featuring some OG Avengers, the Thunderbolts, the Fantastic Four, and even the X-Men. And with all of that in mind, fans are ready for some new updates from the film. Updates that they may well get from the planned CinemaCon panel this evening. Here's what you need to know.

Note: It's important to point out that, while an Avengers: Doomsday trailer / first look footage is expected to be released at CinemaCon today, it might not be uploaded to official accounts by Marvel. At the moment, it's simply unclear what the plan is as reports on the situation have been conflicting.
However, regardless of which approach the studio takes, the breakdown of the footage will be released by journalists present for the panel. So, one way or another, we will know what the released footage entails.
What to expect from Marvel Studios' CinemaCon presentation
With Avengers: Doomsday on the horizon, it's pretty safe to say that Marvel Studios' presentation at CinemaCon will prioritize that one. Reports have suggested that Marvel's president Kevin Feige will be there, along with the film's directors Joe and Anthony Russo (who previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, and will also direct 2027's Avengers: Secret Wars), to kick off the teases.
If the reports about the expected trailer are true, this clip would likely serve as more of a traditional teaser trailer, offering up the first insights into the film's plot and perhaps even giving us our first look at Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. The previous teasers released during the holiday season offered sneak peeks of Chris Evans' return as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth's return as Thor, the X-Men's highly-anticipated comeback, and the Fantastic Four's arrival in Wakanda.
Any new footage would likely focus on the Thunderbolts, a.k.a. the New Avengers, and Sam Wilson's legacy Avengers as they attempt to put their differences aside to deal with the dual threat of the multiverse incursions and Doctor Doom's arrival. Of course, that's just speculation based on previous reports, so we'll have to wait and see what else Marvel has in store for us.
It's also worth noting that we shouldn't expect any further Spider-Man: Brand New Day reveals from the presentation. Sony Pictures, who own the Spider-Man film rights, shared the new posters (along with some other reveals) for that film during their CinemaCon presentation earlier in the week. Marvel Studios will be focusing primarily on its own projects, with Avengers: Doomsday expected to headline.
With all of that in mind, there will be some kind of a teaser trailer / first look footage released at the event. The only question is whether or not it will surface online shortly afterwards. We're ready either way!
